The Acne Personality

The following are a list of traits often found in those that suffer from acne:

1. Low Self-Esteem
2. Feelings of insecurity
3. Having very few friends
4. Self-sufficient
5. Dramatic overachiever or underachiever
6. Hostile and aggressive behaviour
7. Prone to feelings of guilt
8. Suspicious of others
9. Very sensitive
10. Anxious

*It is not yet know whether acne leads to the development of these personality traits in acne sufferers or if acne is more likely to develop in those that already have these traits.
