Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is the use of tiny crystals (sodium bicarbonate or aluminum bicarbonate) to peel off layers of skin cells. The amount of pressure and crystals that are used determines the amount of skin that is pulled off. Microdermabrasion will also stimulate production of collagen and elastin, thus decreasing the effects of aging on your skin as well.

People with mild scarring will see improvement with this technique, but it may take many visits. For those with deeper scarring other procedures, such as dermabrasion, are recommended.

In general, patients will go for treatments once a week for up to 6 weeks. Each visit will cost from $100-200 USD.
